  • CORE: Code of Ethics (3 CE)

    Location: UCAR office (1031 W. Center St., Orem)

    Description:  Learn about the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. Learn how to interact ethically with your clients, with your peers, and with the general public. All REALTORS® and Appraisers are required to take this class between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2012. The Code of Ethics class is REQUIRED to maintain your membership with the National Association of REALTORS®, Utah Association of REALTORS®, and with the Utah County Association of REALTORS®.

  • Professionalism in Real Estate (3 CE)

    Monday, Dec. 5th @ 1:00pm – 4:00pm

    Instructor: Cheryl Knowlton

    Location: UCAR office (1031 W. Center St., Orem)

    Description:

    Learn the do’s and don’ts with getting along with other agents; respect for public, respect for property, and respect for peers. This class covers the Fair Housing Act and advertising do’s and don’ts. You will also learn about anti-trust laws and learn what you can and can’t do in terms of fair competition. New members are required to attend this course within 60 days of joining UCAR.

  • Saving the Deal (3CE)

    Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, 1 – 4 p.m.

    Instructor:  Garth Haslem

    Description:  Students will learn about radon, lead-based paint, asbestos, carbon monoxide, mold, hanta virus, aluminum wiring, termite, and how to keep the buyer from running due to terror when a problem is found.

    Learn what all licencee’s are supposed to do according to the Utah code and the administrators rule.additional Broker’s responsibilities.
